The ONS trade data for June 2023 was released last Friday, completing the UK’s trade performance for the first half of the year. Read the BCC analysis on the data. There are fewer than 50 days to go until the reporting requirements in the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism Regulation come on stream. The EU’s final implementing regulation was made last week. Make sure you are aware of what you will be asked for from Sunday 1 October when sending certain goods to the EU. Last week, the BCC was briefed on progress with the UK trade negotiations with India and note that there is some way to go in the negotiations. |
