The BCC engaged with FCDO officials last week, on the current state of the UK-EU trading relationship. This comes ahead of the meetings of the Civil Society Forum on Tuesday 7 November at which stakeholders will join teams from the UK Government and the European Commission, and the BCC's visit to Brussels in mid-November.
The BCC had a useful discussion last week with Shadow Business and Trade Secretary, Jonathan Reynolds MP and his shadow ministerial team on a range of trade and supply chain policy matters. We have been asked to draw together a short paper on policy on steel for consideration.
