The BCC has participated in pre-agenda meetings ahead of this week's important meetings of the UK-EU Domestic Advisory Group and the Civil Society Forum in London.

The BCC was also briefed on the latest developments in UK-India trade negotiations by senior DBT officials.

They also raised concerns from several Chambers and member firms on the compliance burdens involved with the EU sanctions on Russian sourced or processed steel and iron products. They are seeking an urgent meeting with all key UK government officials on this to examine solutions. If you have been affected, please let Karen Cash have details that she can pass to the BCC.

The UK government launched a call for evidence last week on an upgraded trade agreement with Turkiye.
