Centre for Cities High Streets Recovery Tracker
As the lockdown in response to the Coronavirus pandemic begins to ease, Centre for Cities tracks the recovery of high streets in Britain's cities and large towns.
Using anonymised mobile phone data, the tracker looks at the scale and the pace of city centre recovery so far across UK cities and large towns. The tracker will allow us all to analyse levels of activity across cities and understand ,the degree to which activity is returning to previous levels and how different cities compare - for both their daytime and night-time economies.
The tracker can be accessed here and you can see what it is already showing about city centres as places of work and leisure, day and night.
