Countries that accept ATA Carnets

Countries have their own rules about what goods you can bring in using an ATA Carnet. Check with the issuer in the country you’re exporting to.

Countries that accept ATA carnets

ATA carnets are only valid in these countries:

Taiwan

Taiwan is covered by bilateral agreements between Taiwan and certain countries including the UK, that are contracting parties to the ATA Carnet or Istanbul Conventions. A CPD and China-Taiwan carnet is used, this has a different coloured front cover and vouchers to those on an ATA Carnet but the conditions for its use are exactly the same.
