  • Today we've been delighted to celebrate the official opening of the East Anglia Energy Academy ⚡ Reed in Partnership, in close collaboration with OEA - Oxford Energy Academies, have today opened the new facility in St Ives, Huntingdonshire, which is already fully accredited and ready to deliver. They did so in style with VIP guest Charlie Mullins OBE, highly successful entrepreneur and founder of Pimilco Plumbers. Within five months the team have occupied the building and worked tirelessly to have it fitted with the best kit, creating an environment to simulate what the trainees will face in their occupations. This Energy Hub will provide training at scale, job opportunities, energy advice and consultancy to propel the UK towards #NetZero. For your next generation of environmentally aware tradespeople and construction sector workforce, the academy is delivering on your gas, electrical, plumbing, oil and renewable energy needs 💚 Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce looks forward to working closely with Tom Hoines and Russell Marchant to ensure our region takes advantage of this great asset. Our CEO Charlotte Horobin and Stuart Searle, Board Director and Chair of Huntingdonshire Chambers of Commerce, were delighted to join today's grand opening with fellow Board Director, Faye Holland, with cofinitive leading the excellent public relations for the day which was a huge success! #Huntingdonshire #cambschamber #chambernetwork
