Key takeaways from the session: 1️⃣ The “New Labour Law” provides enhanced flexibility in working hours and introduces new contract types, including part-time, temporary, and flexible working.  2️⃣ Alongside amended notice periods during probation, changes concerning equality, non-discrimination and the prohibition of forced labour mark significant shifts in labour relations within the updated employment law. 3️⃣ Ms. Noora emphasised the range of free resources provided by the MoHRE for private sector employers, including an allocated MoHRE Account Manager and the Nafsi portal, a key tool accessible to all UAE employers, providing support with Emiratisation targets and national talent acquisition. 4️⃣ Darren urged employers to fully embrace the new law and advised seeking professional legal counsel to address any uncertainties.
